Our Democratic representative, Mike McIntyre (D-Suckass), had his spokesman tell my wife that he thinks Bush is doing a heck of a swell job. She got the same response from several other Dems's offices. By the time she got Elizabeth Dole's office on the line, she was fit to be tied, and lo and behold, Dole took the call herself. My wife cussed her up one side and down the other. My favorite bit was when Mrs. Max yelled something about if Dole didn't do something to help those victims in the Gulf Coast, that she could expect people to come after her.

"Are you threatening me?" sez Libby.

"If you consider the fact that 280 million Americans are liable to come marching up through
Washington, pull you and your Republican butt buddies out of their offices, and kick your sorry asses down the street and all the way to jail, then goddamn it, I guess I am threatening you."

I refuse.

I refuse to do the work of the extremists for them.
I refuse to suspect people of wishing me harm when they have given me no grounds to do so.
I refuse to allow the government to put forth further anti-liberty legislation in my name.
I refuse to stand by and listen to snide, ignorant arseholes making racist comments; I will speak against them.
I refuse to let the government dilute our freedom of speech. You don't kill hatred by driving it underground, it MUST be brought out into the open and its flaws pointed out for everyone to see.
I refuse to let the poison of hatred spread any further.
